This week everyone was busy and we could not find time to work on the jet ski.

This week we have planning on how we are going to sand, primer, and paint the jet ski. We need to figure out what kind of paint we want.
This week we took of the old decals of the side of the jet ski and the motor cover. We also got off the old knee padding in the jet ski. Lastly, Jerome cut himself with a razor trying to get the decals off.
This week, Charlie took the Jet Ski to his Lakehouse and attempted to run it on the water. We fixed most of the problems last week that we saw before putting it in the water. The Jet ski worked in the water but we founded out more problems. The idle speed was too slow and the engine would die. When it was running water would get in the electrical box from the kill button and would kill the engine, charlie had to put plastic over it so it would not stop when running. The high speed was too rich so it would flood the engine and die at medium speeds.
This week we put the steering arm back together. We had a bunch of small problems to fix in order to put the new steering arm on the new support piece that holds the arm in place and can make the arm fixed in an upwards position. We had to cut holes in the metal support piece to get the screws through the right holes. We put the cables through the arm and attached the steering and throttle. We found the problem with the engine revving too high and fixed it. We got the choke cable of a newer jet ski and hooked up it to the choke throttle.
This week with the newly rebuilt carb we tested out the motor. We hooked up the house to the water intake and hit the start button. We saw the gas and oil mixture going through the filter which was a good sign. The motor started and ran. We found a problem that the Motor would over rev and get very loud and just die. We did some research and found it is best to test the Jet Ski on the water.
This week we found the right gasket for the carburetor. We took out the carburetor from the motor, took it apart and rebuilt it. Replacing the gaskets and filters.
This week we had difficulties due to the weather and ice storm. We could not get together with the bad weather and charlie being out of town. During these hard times we took a walk and saw Mr. Barrett in his yard.
We found the right Carb Kit and ordered it online since we were having trouble with the fuel intake. We are researching the best way to repaint the exterior.
This week we set the idle speed on the motor and were looking for a carburetor fix. We also bough decals for the sides of the jet ski.
